Night Sky
Bit of a gratuitous selfie, taken on an after dinner stroll in the Karijini Eco Retreat, where we stayed. The yellow grass like plants are actually spinifex bushes which are synonymous with the landscape in the Karijini area. There is no mobile reception within Karijini. One of the benefits of being stuck in the middle of nowhere, disconnected from the rest of the world is the amazing view of the night sky! Karijini, WA, Australia
This is an interpretive image, based (loosely) on a scene from Mount Cook. I call it Lake Pohewa, since I am led to believe that is the Maori word for "imagine". I thought the name was appropriate since it is a lake that doesn't exist, depicting a sunset that didn't happen and stars that weren't there. Mount Cook, New Zealand.
This is an interpretive image based on a sunset at Camel Rock, along the NSW Sapphire Coast. Camel Rock, Wallaga Lake / Narooma, NSW
